The 320 Market Cafe
About This Spot
Stepping into The 320 Market Cafe in Swarthmore feels like slipping into a neighborhood gathering spot where comfort and discovery mingle effortlessly. The pace here is unhurried, inviting you to settle in whether you’re craving a quiet moment with a carefully poured craft beer or mingling over a shared pie in the beer garden. It’s a place where familiar warmth meets a low-key buzz — the hum of conversations blending with the clink of glasses and the faint promise of freshly baked aromas.
What sets this place apart is its layered personality. It’s as much a cozy café as it is a lively corner spot for those who appreciate thoughtful pairings — the kind of venue offering everything from cold sandwiches to unique flatbreads that feel handcrafted with care. There’s a playful spirit here, too, evident in offerings like a flight of Girl Scout cookie-inspired treats or vibrant tacos that hint at culinary journeys beyond the neighborhood.
Behind the bar, an exceptional craft beer selection serves as a quiet point of pride. The shelves and taps showcase an adventurous range — from beloved local brews to rare finds — giving both regulars and visitors a reason to linger a little longer. Whether you’re grabbing a hop-forward stout or a crisp nitro pour, the atmosphere encourages savoring the moment as much as the drink. The staff gently guide the experience, blending helpful knowledge with genuine friendliness that feels more like sharing than selling.
Families find a thoughtful balance, with a menu that offers simple comforts alongside bold flavors, making it easy to bring everyone together around the table. The eclectic vibe carries through even in the pizza takeaway, where inventive toppings and fresh ingredients turn a quick meal into a small celebration. It’s a spot that embraces the joy of everyday indulgences, from morning coffee to an impromptu evening unwind.
Ultimately, The 320 Market Cafe feels rooted in community without ever coming across as anything but welcoming. Every time we go in we enjoy a new draft list and can selection to go. Living in California we were able to get Russian River’s Pliny the Elder at local tap rooms-never thought we could get it on draft (and in crowlers to go) in Swarthmore. You always come in for the chips and pico and leave with 2 bags full of goodies. Everything we had was tasty but the chicken banh mi was the winner this time. Thank you for keeping the quality of your food high.

Great pizza, taste fresh and the food options are plenty. My go-to take out or quick dine in. Absolutely fave staple place. They use better ingredients and everything taste good here. Options for veg to meat eaters which is good for my family. Great place for kids. My family loves the Margherita pizza and Cesar salad. I would say this is the best pizza in the burbs.

This is a pizza review only as I’m a raving fan of the Swarthmore 320 Market for their food and beer side. This is the take out only side. Ordered the Primo pie and it was just okay. When they first started pizza it was outstanding. Last time I ordered the regular pie. Both were cooked in the new oven. Better than most Delco pies other than Ravenessi and maybe Pops.

Awesome craft beer selection. I got there early and Sean was very helpful. He filled two crowlers for me on spot. The beer is great and they have some selections I haven’t seen around anywhere else. Friendly and accommodating staff. I highly recommend stopping by if you are in the area
